Build at Origin Genomics

We are building a team for the long term: individuals who understand that frontier technologies must be developed with both scientific excellence and societal responsibility.
If you are motivated by hard problems and generational impact, we invite you to apply.

We are hiring across scientific, ethical, and operational disciplines.
You have hands-on experience with CRISPR systems, base editing, prime editing, or related precision platforms. You understand off-target analysis, mosaicism challenges, delivery optimization, and genomic integrity assessment. You value experimental rigor over hype.
You have deep experience in IVF laboratory environments, micromanipulation, embryo culture, and early developmental biology. You understand the biological context in which genome engineering must function.
You have experience building and analyzing genomic datasets in high-stakes research environments. You are comfortable developing variant-calling pipelines, performing off-target analyses, and interpreting whole-genome or long-read sequencing data. You understand that in genome editing, computational rigor is inseparable from biological safety.
You engage seriously with the ethical dimensions of heritable genetic medicine. You are comfortable navigating public scrutiny and regulatory complexity. You believe difficult questions deserve thoughtful, evidence-based dialogue.
You may not fit neatly into a category. You are adaptable, analytical, and motivated to work at the intersection of science, governance, and long-term strategy. You thrive in environments where clarity is evolving and the stakes are high.
What we value

Heritable genetic medicine is entering a new phase. Regulatory frameworks are evolving globally.
The scientific challenges remain significant. So does the opportunity. The team we build now will shape how this field develops for decades.
